According to a just-released Gallup poll, US citizens want cannabis to be legal. They’ve come in at 50% in favor, 46% against! This is the first time this has happened in the history of Gallup asking this question. Flipping from the opposite numbers a year ago, this signals a major milestone.

Notably Zogby and Angus Reed polling have shown numbers over 50% since 2009. The details:
